Roles& Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for the Client Onboarding Portal.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs.
- Gather business and non-functional requirements and conduct feasibility studies for IT solutions.
- Analyze current onboarding processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Study existing business processes and propose optimized functionalities.
- Present solution options for business problems to enhance enablement.
- Develop process maps and workflows to improve the onboarding journey.
- Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Document requirements into product backlog items mapped to features.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
- Facilitate meetings to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
- Support the creation of test plans and cases.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met.
- Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports to communicate findings and provide business advisories.
- Provide training and develop materials to support effective portal adoption.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 8 to 10 + years of experience as a business analyst, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Experience in client onboarding and digital transformation projects is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
- Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Effective questioning techniques for detailed information gathering.
- Familiarity with corporate banking products and services.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and independent.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
