About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CB Fintech Partnership Manager to join our dynamic team at Group Technology UAE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scouting, evaluating, and delivering cutting-edge fintech solutions that align with our Consumer Banking domain. You will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to design and execute POCs (Proofs of Concept) and pilot projects that drive value for our business units.
Key Responsibilities:
•Domain Expertise: Understand and address the specific demands of the Consumer Banking domain by scouting for relevant FinTech solutions and supporting the development of POCs and pilots.
•Solution Evaluation: Analyze business requirements, evaluate build vs. buy options, and identify fintech solutions that address capability gaps.
•Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of fintech prospects through the FinTech ecosystem.
•Partnership Development: Scout, identify, and evaluate innovative fintech companies for potential partnerships.
•Collaboration: Work with service lines to facilitate the development and execution of POCs and pilot projects with fintech partners.
•Coordination: Manage dependencies and ensure effective communication across service lines and stakeholders.
•Technical Oversight: Review technical solutions and integration dependencies of fintech applications within our technology landscape.
•Sandbox Management: Oversee the setup and management of the bank’s POC sandbox environment for testing fintech solutions.
•Implementation: Ensure smooth transition from sandbox testing to full-scale implementation, working closely with business units and service lines.
•Reporting: Prepare high-level milestone reports for POCs and implementations, highlighting any major delays to leadership.
•Escalation Point: Act as the first-level escalation contact for business units, service lines, and support functions.
Qualifications:
•Experience: 10-12 years, with at least 8 years in techno-functional roles managing programs in consumer/retail banking, digital banking, or fintech sectors.
•Track Record: Proven experience managing fintech partnerships, including scouting, negotiating, and operationalizing collaborations.
•Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of consumer/retail banking products, digital technologies, and financial services landscape.
•Technical Skills: Expertise in architecture patterns, system integration, and implementing fintech solutions.
•Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing strategic plans for integrating fintech solutions.
•Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive management and across large, complex organizations.
•Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, no-surprises communication approach.
